Qualifications

• 3-5 years of medical coding experience, preferably in HCC/Risk Adjustment.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
• Certified medical coders are eligible to apply.
• Experience reviewing clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform HCC/Risk Adjustment medical coding.
• Review medical records for reportable diagnoses.
• Apply ICD-10-CM guidelines and HCC methodologies.
• Ensure accurate, compliant, and documentation-supported coding.
• Identify coding gaps and validate diagnoses.
• Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and quality.
• Stay updated on coding guidelines and model updates.
• Collaborate with coding and quality teams for clarification.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
