Job summary

SDH Systems LLC is seeking an experienced HCC Medical Coder for a fully remote contract position. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of HCC/Risk Adjustment coding experience and strong ICD-10-CM knowledge to review clinical documentation.

Certified medical coders are eligible to apply. You will work remotely with a focus on accuracy, productivity, confidentiality, and staying current with regulatory changes in healthcare coding.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of medical coding experience, preferably in HCC/Risk Adjustment.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
• Certified medical coders are eligible to apply.
• Experience reviewing clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform HCC/Risk Adjustment medical coding.
• Review medical records for reportable diagnoses.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations.
