Highmark Health is seeking a skilled HCC coder to support Medicare Advantage, ACA, and RPM initiatives from a remote office setting. You will perform HCC coding across MA/ACA/ESRD projects, adhere to CMS guidelines, and collaborate with physicians, Quality, Compliance, and leadership to ensure accurate risk adjustment coding.

Required are 3 years of HCC coding experience and certifications (CPC/CRC/CCS/RHIT).

Qualifications

• 3 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing
• Experience with MA/ACA/HCC models and RPM coding is preferred
• Must be CPC/CRC/CCS/RHIT or equivalent certification and ongoing compliance

Responsabilités

• Performs HCC coding on projects for MA, ACA, and ESRD, using various coding applications and CMS guidelines
• Assists with regulatory audits by performing initial chart review and ranking
• Participates in ad-hoc projects and provides process-improvement recommendations
• Engages in RPM coding educational meetings and annual coding Summit
• Other duties as assigned
