Highmark Health is seeking a skilled HCC coder for remote office-based work supporting Medicare Advantage and ACA risk adjustment. The role requires accurate ICD-10 and HCC coding across MA, ACA, and ESRD projects, with collaboration with physicians and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant documentation.

Experience with CMS guidelines and RPM coding is essential. Certification in CPC/CRC/CCS/RHIT preferred; remote work options available within the United States.

Qualificações

• 3 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing.
• 5 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs HCC coding on MA, ACA, and ESRD projects; flexes between models and works in various coding applications and EMR systems.
• Assists with regulatory audits by performing first coding review and ranking of charts; builds partnerships with coding teams and internal partners.
• Participates on ad-hoc projects and provides recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Engages in RPM coding educational meetings and annual coding Summit.
• Other duties as assigned.
