Highmark Health is seeking an experienced HCC coder to deliver accurate coding for Medicare Advantage, ACA and ESRD, leveraging CPC, CRC, CCS, and RHIT credentials. You will work across multiple models and systems to maintain compliant, high-quality risk adjustment data.

The role is remote office-based with 0%–25% travel, offering collaboration with physicians, Quality, Compliance, and leadership to drive improvement in documentation and coding accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing
• 5 years HCC coding and/or coding and billing (preferred)
• CPC, CRC, CCS, RHIT certifications required or preferred

Responsabilités

• Performs HCC coding on projects for MA, ACA, and ESRD.
• Assists with Regulatory Audits by performing first coding review and ranking of charts.
• Participates on ad-hoc projects per the direction of Leadership to address the needs of the department.
• Engages in RPM Coding educational meetings and annual coding Summit.
• Other duties as assigned.
