Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring for a remote ICD-10-CM coder. You’ll ensure accurate diagnoses coding under CMS guidelines and support Medicare Advantage coding accuracy from anywhere in the United States.

Required: Coding Program Certificate or 2 years of experience; CCS-P/CPC credentials; ICD-10-CM knowledge; strong English communication and problem solving. Preferred: HEDIS or government coding rules knowledge. Pay ranges $18-$32 per hour.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Coding or 2 years related experience.
• CCS-P, CPC, CPC-A, or CRC credentials preferred.
• ICD-10-CM coding knowledge required.
• Proven English speaking/writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
