Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HCC coding experience.
• Extensive ICD-10 knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong medical terminology, abbreviations, pharmacology, and disease process knowledge.
• Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely and manage time.
• Knowledge of computer hardware/software use for data processing and security.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify and code diagnoses per project guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, DRGs coding guidelines, and third-party policies.
• Maintain 95% coding accuracy.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
