Job summary

Datavant is seeking an experienced HCC Auditor to join our healthcare data platform, focused on translating clinical documentation into precise ICD-10 codes for risk adjustment and reimbursement. You will review coded charts, maintain high quality, participate in weekly coding project reviews, and adapt to varying client guidelines while working in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 2+ years in HCC coding and auditing, AHIMA or AAPC credentials, and a strong medical

Qualifications

• 2 years' HCC Coding experience
• 2 years' HCC Auditing experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology & pharmacology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• Ability to be flexible in work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management

Responsibilities

• Audit coded charts per client guidelines
• Adapt to different client guidelines with ease
• Maintain 95% quality at diagnosis level
• Respond to rebuttals from coders/auditors
• Attend weekly coding project review meetings
• Fulfill tasks assigned by quality supervisor
