Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Hazard Forecaster to analyze workload trends, build volume forecasts, and translate them into staffing recommendations. You will partner with Operations to ensure service levels and drive data-driven workforce planning across remote teams.

The role requires advanced Excel, strong analytical skills, and experience with Power BI. You will present insights at monthly reviews and continuously improve forecasting models to support business growth.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze historical workload data, trends, and business drivers to develop accurate volume forecasts.
Create staffing recommendations that support operational goals and contractual service level agreements.
Present forecasts, trends, and workforce recommendations during monthly business review meetings.
Develop reports and perform ad hoc analyses related to new initiatives, process changes, and client onboarding activities.
Continuously improve forecasting models, methodologies, and workforce planning processes.
