Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Financial Analyst to join their remote-friendly team, focusing on data analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning for a major insurer. This fully remote role offers autonomy, collaboration tools, and a high-performance environment.

You will analyze financial performance, develop budgets and forecasts, present insights to management, and drive cost-saving initiatives using advanced Excel and ERP systems in a remote-first setup.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with financial reporting software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance against budget and forecast.
• Prepare variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial results.
• Support the development of the annual budget and periodic re-forecasts.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support business initiatives.
• Prepare management reports and presentations on financial performance and outlook.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and understand business drivers.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities and strategic projects.
• Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting processes.
