UnitedHealthcare is seeking an Account Consultant Pharmacist to work remotely in Hawaii, reporting to the Pharmacy Services leadership. You will guide the pharmacy benefit strategy, manage policy and compliance, and engage stakeholders to improve plan performance and member satisfaction.

The role requires 1+ year(s) in clinical pharmacy or managed care, Pharm.D or B.S.Pharm, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• B.S.Pharm or Pharm.D
• 1+ years of Clinical Pharmacy, Sales, or Account Management experience or combination thereof
• 1+ years of experience in Managed Care Pharmacy either in a Health Plan or PBM
• 1+ years of direct experience with Medicaid/Medicare plans
• Experience engaging and presenting to groups including senior level management
• Proven ability to work with pharmacy data and understand Pharmacy Utilization Review and pharmacy trend
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsabilidades

• Executes the pharmacy benefit and compliance with the state contract, policies, and regulations
• Develops, executes, and drives strategic plans and goals for the health plan
• Analyzes forecasting and trend information for planning
• Provides strategic direction and financial impact analysis for pharmacy program priorities
• Maintains relationships with internal and external partners and serves as primary contact for Pharmacy Services
• Assists plan on clinical program development and member satisfaction
• Creates and maintains state-specific policies
• Serves as SME for formulary, prior authorization, and benefit coding requirements
• Communicates pharmacy program changes to key departments
• Collaborates with internal partners to address ongoing pharmacy service needs
• Conducts studies for operational and business planning
• Implements pharmacy program changes and communicates with stakeholders
• Engages Medicaid and health plan associations to build relationships
• Ensures timely submission of accurate pharmacy reports to Medicaid and health plan
