Job summary

LMI is seeking a Hardware Operations Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of hardware development, manufacturing, and delivery activities within SPECTR. Reporting to the Hardware Manager, you will act as a key operational resource, ensuring alignment across engineering, firmware, manufacturing, procurement, and program delivery teams.

This role enables engineers to focus on product development while keeping projects organized and on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, management, or operations.
• Experience using project management/workflow platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience tracking schedules, milestones, deliverables, and actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities across hardware development and manufacturing initiatives.
• Track progress, identify risks and resource constraints, and facilitate cross-functional communication.
• Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, action registers, and status reports.
• Support leadership in prioritizing competing hardware development and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate project reviews and communicate decisions and outstanding issues.
• Create, organize, and maintain Jira tickets, epics, and project boards; develop dashboards.
