Job summary

Frontline Wildfire Defense is seeking an experienced product/ program manager to own the roadmap for hardware and connected systems. You will translate field needs into clear requirements and drive cross-functional programs from concept to launch.

You will collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, operations, and marketing to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and market success, while balancing performance and cost in a remote-first, PST/MST-hour aligned environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years experience in product management, program management, or related roles for hardware or connected products.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to operate across hardware, software, and real-world workflows.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product roadmap across controllers, hydraulics, sensors, and system capabilities.
• Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements.
• Define requirements across hardware, sensing, connectivity, and supporting software.
• Align roadmap with company strategy, balancing performance, cost, reliability, and installability.
• Incorporate field and customer feedback into continuous product improvement.
• Lead cross-functional programs from concept through productization and launch.
• Align hardware, firmware, software, operations, and marketing teams through product development processes.
• Ensure products are manufacturable, installable, and serviceable.
• Manage timelines, milestones, documentation and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Create and manage key hardware, sensor, and technology partnerships.
• Support product positioning, packaging, and SKU definition.
• Partner with sales, operations, and marketing to align product with customer needs.
