Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring judgment from years of designing, debugging, and shipping hardware; we provide engineering problems the models cannot yet solve.

You design realistic problems, run them through AI models, and critique outputs with clear reasoning. Remote, project-based work with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
• 2+ years industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical/electronics engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to defend design decisions with clear reasoning.
• Experience with AI tools or quick to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems from your practice.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs against your standard.
• Compare two model versions on identical prompts and assess performance.
• Critique model-derived derivations, schematics, component selections and calculations with rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and correct any incorrect assumptions.
