Job summary

LBC Mortgage, based in Los Angeles, is seeking a skilled Hard Money Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of underwriting experience in Hard Money or Private Lending, with a strong understanding of Fix & Flip and Bridge loan underwriting.

Your role will include underwriting various types of loans, analyzing property details and deal structures, and ensuring adherence to company policies. We offer a supportive team environment and competitive compensation along with remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of underwriting experience in Hard Money / Private Lending.
• Strong understanding of Fix & Flip and Bridge loan underwriting.
• Ability to evaluate ARV-based deals and rehab budgets.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Hard Money / Private Money loans.
• Review loan files and borrower documentation.
• Analyze property details and overall risk.
• Issue approvals and conditions for loans.

Skills

Underwriting experience in Hard Money / Private Lending

Understanding of Fix & Flip and Bridge loan underwriting

Ability to evaluate ARV-based deals

Knowledge of appraisals, title reports, and insurance

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills
