Job summary

MASS Group, Inc. is seeking a senior Business Development Leader to drive new account growth in the public sector defense manufacturing space.

You will work closely with the CEO and senior executives to identify opportunities, manage strategic discovery, and serve as a trusted partner to Tier-2 primes and defense contractors. Remote role with travel up to 30–50% across the U.S.; base salary starts at $150,000 with an uncapped 50/50 split and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of strategic relationship management or account management at senior levels
• Proven track record with Directors of Manufacturing or equivalents
• Established networks in Tier-2 Defense Primes and commercial-defense sectors
• Ability to assess data maturity and communicate modernization sequence
• Hunter mindset: build pipeline from scratch and qualify opportunities
• Experience handing off qualified pipeline to capture/proposal teams
• Comfort in early-growth, mission-driven environments

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify opportunities within Tier-2 Defense Primes and defense contractors
• Serve as consultative partner to senior stakeholders on manufacturing bottlenecks
• Build communication architecture and trust early in the acquisition lifecycle
• Lead capture handoffs to internal capture and research teams
• Drive growth and upsell within secure enclaves to hit retention goals
• Lead modernization discussions showing how digital spine improves metrics
