Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. in the United States seeks a Business Development Manager to drive revenue and design-wins for IOA Precision Sensors Americas, focusing on photon sensing devices used in defense applications such as target acquisition and laser warning.

You will lead strategic accounts, grow pipelines, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with product management and applications engineering to align solutions with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/optical engineering or physics is desirable.
• At least 5 years of sales experience with demonstrated knowledge of OEM sales.
• Proven track record in a technical sales/application specific role.
• Defense & Aerospace industry experience is a plus.
• High degree of integrity, tact and ability to influence others while remaining diplomatic.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical liaison for the Photon Sensing market including missile guidance, targeting and laser warning applications.
• Grow sales territory/accounts with assigned revenue, bookings and design-win targets; drive attainment of sales, profit and market share objectives.
• Manage key accounts and develop deep customer relationships from engineering level to senior levels; develop account growth plans.
• Lead negotiations with customers and contribute to contractual agreements within company guidelines.
• Manage and grow prospect pipeline; drive prospects to closure and add new ones to meet growth targets.
• Generate leads through proactive business development and document qualification of all leads.
• Develop and deliver strategic sales presentations and articulate value propositions.
