Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is a plus in engineering, business, or science.
• 5+ years of project or program coordination experience, ideally in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• PMP certification strongly preferred; uncertified candidates expected to pursue certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Project, MS PowerPoint, CM Systems and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage a diverse range of personnel in a matrix organization.
• Ability to multitask and work independently, solving problems hands-on when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage technically and logistically complex programs, delivering on time, to spec and at planned cost.
• Create project timelines and actively manage and report performance against the timeline.
• Create budgets for projects and actively manage and report performance against the budget.
• Coordinate activity with engineering, supply chain and operations for project success.
• Serve as primary customer interface, providing superior support and managing demanding customers.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks.
• Leverage technical knowledge to keep investigations aligned with project goals.
• Achieve results while reinforcing company culture and maintaining accountability.
• Lead project teams and navigate phase gates (Initiate, Feasibility, Design, Prototype, Pilot, Production).
• Communicate project performance to stakeholders including Excelitas leadership and customers.
