Job summary

The Absorption Company is seeking a Growth Copywriter to own the paid social copy across our performance pipeline. You will craft high-volume, high-impact text for Meta, TikTok, Google, and other channels, collaborating with strategists and designers to tighten hooks and headlines.

This remote, full-time role demands fast iteration, test-driven writing, and strict adherence to supplement advertising guidelines. You'll report to the Director of Performance Creative and VP of Marketing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of copywriting experience in performance marketing or DTC.
• Portfolio including paid social ad copy, hooks, headlines, or scripts.
• Ability to write short, punchy copy that drives action.
• Treat copy as an ongoing test with variant creation for performance.
• Experience adjusting tone for different audience segments.
• Ability to write at high volume without quality loss.
• Understand what makes a hook stop the scroll.
• Write compliantly within brand and regulatory guidelines.
• Hit fast daily deadlines and take feedback well.

Responsibilities

• Write paid social ad copy for 10+ concepts per day across Meta, TikTok, Google, and other channels.
• Partner with Creative Strategists on persona and messaging work.
• Write landers for acquisition with persuasive messaging.
• Create multiple angles per concept to test performance differentials.
• Use performance signals to inform next copy iterations.
• Collaborate with designers and editors to ensure copy complements visuals.
• Assist with static ad copy and video script support as needed.
• Support UGC script review and founder-led content.
• Fulfill cross-department copy needs as they arise.
• Write compliantly within supplement and wellness advertising guidelines.
• Deliver fast, take feedback well, and iterate without losing quality.
