Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Group Financial Underwriter for a remote role in the United States. This position focuses on underwriting for employer-sponsored Life & Disability, and/or Dental & Vision benefit lines, requiring 2+ years of group underwriting experience in a health insurance carrier. The role demands strong analytical skills, financial proficiency, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will perform underwriting for large employer groups and collaborate with internal sales teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Group Underwriting experience within a Health Insurance carrier.
• Direct underwriting experience with Group Life & Disability and/or Group Dental & Vision products.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including premium development and claim projection.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial group underwriting for employer groups with 100+ eligible lives.
• Analyze historical claims, premium performance, and utilization trends.
• Develop premium rate calculations, projections, and future cost estimates.
