Job summary

JW Marriott is seeking a Group Revenue Manager to maximize group revenue and profitability through strategic evaluation, pricing, and management of contracted block business and displacement opportunities. This role collaborates with Sales, Catering, and Event Management to drive strategic decisions across all group segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in revenue management, group sales, or hotel analytics, preferably in a full-service or luxury property.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability across all group segments including meetings & events, corporate, SMERF, association, tour series, convention, sports, crew, and social/wedding business.
• Evaluate RFPs and develop strategic pricing recommendations.
• Perform displacement analysis and assess total account value.
• Provide data-driven accept/decline recommendations aligned with overall revenue strategy.
• Partner with Catering & Events to optimize ballroom and meeting space utilization.
• Monitor block performance, including utilization, attrition, and cutoff adherence.
• Conduct 12–24-month pace and demand analysis to identify need periods.
• Protect inventory through strategic rate, availability, and inventory controls.
• Own strategy, production, and performance for corporate groups, association, convention, SMERF, tour & travel, sports, and social/wedding groups.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Catering & Events, DOSM, and the Director of Revenue to ensure alignment and execution of strategies.
• KPIs include Group ADR, Group revenue pace, Group wash percentage, Total revenue contribution, Function space utilization, Conversion ratio, Group profitability, Displacement accuracy.
