Job summary

Ford Energy, a newly formed Ford Motor Company subsidiary, seeks a visionary Director of Sales to lead market entry and multi-gigawatt-hour MSAs for grid-scale energy storage. You will cultivate deep relationships with utilities, IPPs, and hyperscalers, guiding end-to-end commercial strategy and contract negotiations.

You will report to the Director of Commercial Sales and coordinate with Legal, Finance, and EPC partners to ensure successful project delivery and strong long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, or business; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8 years of sales experience.
• 4 years in Battery Energy Storage (BESS) or Renewable Energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end sales strategy for Ford Energy’s DC-block commercial systems and meet revenue targets.
• Manage full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract with forecasting.
• Develop go-to-market plans for regions and customer segments.
• Lead strategic relationships with utilities, IPPs, and AI data center hyperscalers.
• Oversee the customer journey from first engagement to commissioning.
• Coordinate with EPC partners and internal teams on deals.
