Job summary

Ford Energy seeks a Director of Sales to drive expansion into grid-scale and large commercial energy sectors. You will own the end-to-end sales strategy, from market entry to Master Supply Agreements, reporting to the Director of Commercial Sales.

This hunter-leader role requires deep relationships with utilities, IPPs, integrators, and AI data center hyperscalers. You will articulate Ford Energy’s value, drive pipeline, and coordinate with Legal, Finance, and EPC partners to win complex deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, or business; an MBA or advanced Engineering degree is highly preferred.
• 8 years of sales experience.
• 4 years experience in the Battery Energy Storage (BESS) or Renewable Energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Strategy & Execution: Drive Revenue Growth by executing end-to-end sales strategy for Ford Energy’s DC-block commercial systems; manage a robust pipeline to meet targets.
• Pipeline Management: Oversee full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract execution with CRM-driven forecasting.
• Go-to-Market Implementation: Adapt and execute go-to-market plans for regions and customer segments to position Ford Energy as the premier domestic BESS provider.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, or business; an MBA or advanced Engineering degree is highly preferred
