Job summary

E Source is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our Grid Engineering & Interconnection practice across North America. This remote role prioritizes utilities, data centers, and EPC firms, with travel to meet clients and participate in industry events.

You will lead consultative sales efforts, build technical proposals, and expand relationships with engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders to drive bookings and revenue.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in technical sales or engineering consulting.
• Experience with utilities, renewables, data centers, IPPs, or ISOs/RTOs is a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective customers (ISOs/RTOs, utilities, developers, EPC firms, data centers).
• Generate leads via LinkedIn, cold calls, emails, and referrals.
• Develop new business opportunities and coordinate consultative sales with engineering and executives.
• Develop technical proposals, scopes of work, pricing, and client presentations.
• Drive bookings and revenue through strategic account plans and relationships.
