Job summary

Rutgers University’s School of Health Professions (SHP) seeks a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Health Informatics to support online teaching activities, including grading, working with students to improve performance, and answering questions about course content. Essential duties include facilitating online lessons, grading, updating grades in Excel, and assisting in preparing reading materials.

This is a part-time, hourly position with potential for remote work and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a graduate program within the Department of Health Informatics.
• Must have ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT coding knowledge and/or practice.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate online lessons, tutorials or discussions with the Instructor.
• Grade assignments, exams, quizzes, and projects.
• Maintain and update student grades as an Excel Sheet to be submitted to the Instructor.
• Assist the Instructor in preparing and sharing reading materials, supplementary notes.
