Job summary

Massed Compute is hiring an Infrastructure Operations Specialist to coordinate procurement, data center leasing, site operations, and solutions engineering. You will own the asset lifecycle, tracking from PO to production, and drive deployments across multiple sites while building scalable tooling and AI-enabled reporting.

You will define what to track, build the system of record, and work with vendors to resolve issues, aiming for improved utilization and transparency across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management, analytics, or logistics.
• Fluency in data center fundamentals — racks, power, cooling, cabling.
• Experience coordinating work across organizations that do not report to you.
• The instinct to build a repeatable process the second time you do something.
• Strong written communication and ownership of deployments.
• Fluency with AI tools to automate operations.

Responsibilities

• Decide where equipment goes across our site portfolio, balancing power, cooling, rack density, and deployment speed.
• Track shipments from PO to production — custody, transit, receipt, staging, racking, cabling, and burn-in.
• Run deployments and redeployments across facilities, coordinating with teams and shifting capacity as needed.
• Own warranty, RMA, and servicing; drive issues through vendor processes to resolution.
• Own the fleet system of record: asset and inventory state, reconciliation discipline.
• Build the forward view with reports on landing time, capacity frees, and risks for leadership planning.
• Support solutions engineering by providing a credible commitment timeline and risk flags.
