Job summary

Molex, a global electronics solutions provider, seeks a Contracts Manager to oversee contract administration and proposal development for aerospace and defense programs. You will ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and customer requirements while guiding bid activities.

This is a highly visible role requiring strategic thinking, cross‑functional collaboration with Program Management, Legal, Finance, Sales and Engineering, and the ability to mitigate risk and drive profitable contract

Qualifications

• Our candidate has a Bachelor's degree and strong background in government contracts (FAR/DFARS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in U.S. Government contracting (FAR/DFARS).
• Experience negotiating terms, developing complex proposals, and drafting contracts for US Government contracts.
• Understanding of ITAR/DFARS and related export controls.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate complex contractual documents including NDAs, terms & conditions, subcontracts, UCAs, and formal bid responses.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and other federal acquisition requirements.
• Lead pre-award and post-award contracting activities for US government contracts, serving as primary contract authority.
• Support capture and proposal efforts: compliance matrices, cost inputs, risk assessments, and terms evaluation.
• Respond to contract-related inquiries, audits, investigations, and disputes; assist with settlement proposals.
• Share knowledge on contract obligations, change control, and compliance with program teams.
• Maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders; improve contracting processes and templates.
