Job summary

ASRC Federal is actively seeking a System Analyst to join our team and support defining business and systems requirements for our federal customer. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of analyst skill tools to elicit business requirements, possess excellent written and oral skills, and be able to define requirements for government systems.

Work location is remote, with background investigation and US citizenship requirements for a public trust position.

Qualifications

Strong technical writing skills with the ability to concisely describe business and functional requirements.
Experience applying SDLC and architecture concepts to government systems.
Ability to manage requirements using standard tools and diagrams (Visio, UML).
Familiarity with SOA concepts and governance in enterprise settings.
Knowledge of databases (SQL Server/Oracle) and data modeling.

Responsibilities

Defining and documenting system requirements for complex government software systems.
Eliciting information from product owners and sponsors via oral and written communication.
Facilitating meetings with stakeholders to organize work and priorities.
Interfacing with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment with guidelines.
Developing architecture decisions and SDLC deliverables including COA, business case, and analyses.
Conducting market analysis to identify costs, benefits, and risks of solutions.
