Serco Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the remote DOAR BU Program Finance Team. The role focuses on full life-cycle program finances, including cost, schedule and funding planning, along with extensive Excel and data-management work.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of related experience, and strong knowledge of government contracting principles. The position emphasizes collaboration and adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations, and accounting and finance principles.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team with high professional standards and strong follow-up.

Responsabilités

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers including WBS, BOEs and development of time-phased budgets/EACs and schedules.
• Support accounts receivable during the billing process, including invoice backup when required.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues; coordinate with Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals as services/goods are received in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support monthly business rhythms of both the program and finance organizations, including meetings and program reviews.
• Administer formal aspects of program control per GAAP, corporate policies, and government regulations.
• Complete finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition per contractual terms.
• Liaise between operations and other admin/finance groups; interface with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as required.
