Frazier & Deeter is seeking a Government Contract Accounting Senior Manager in Towson, MD. You will lead government contracting engagements, ensuring FAR/DCAA compliance while guiding clients on cost accounting, pricing, and process improvements.

The role emphasizes relationship building and expanding services within the GovCon space. The ideal candidate has extensive GovCon experience, CPA preferred, and a proven track record in multi-client leadership, budgeting, and strategic advisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required or equivalent.
• CPA license preferred for senior leadership roles.
• 8+ years of experience supporting government contractor clients.
• Experience with government contract accounting software such as Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, PROCAS, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple government contractor client engagements, serving as a trusted advisor on accounting, compliance, operational, and financial matters.
• Provide guidance related to FAR, DCAA requirements, Cost Accounting Standards, indirect rate structures, cost allowability, and allocability.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, indirect cost rate calculations, incurred cost submissions, and other compliance-related deliverables.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services and deliver additional value.
• Advise clients on DCAA audit readiness, compliance assessments, process improvements, and government contract accounting best practices.
