Job summary

Frazier & Deeter in the United States is seeking a Government Contract Accounting Senior Manager to lead complex engagements within our CAAS practice. You will provide strategic guidance on FAR, DCAA, and cost accounting, manage multiple client engagements, and help drive growth in the government contracting space.

You will oversee financial statements, indirect cost rate calculations, and incurred cost submissions while mentoring managers and staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
CPA license preferred.
8+ years of experience supporting government contractor clients.
Experience with government contract accounting software is required.
Experience leading client relationships and managing multiple engagements.
Strong business development, networking, and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple government contractor client engagements, advising on accounting and compliance.
Guide FAR, DCAA, cost accounting standards, and cost allowability.
Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and cost submissions.
Develop strong client relationships and seek opportunities to expand services.
Mentor teams and manage budgets, timelines, and profitability.
