Frazier & Deeter, a rapidly growing top 50 accounting and advisory firm, seeks a Government Contract Accounting Senior Manager to lead complex government contracting engagements and advise on compliance for federal work. You will manage client relationships, supervise engagements, and drive growth of GovCon services.

The role involves mentoring teams, overseeing budgets and deadlines, and staying current on regulations, with a remote work option and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA preferred.
• 8+ years supporting government contractor clients.
• Experience with government contract accounting software is required.
• Experience leading client relationships and multiple engagements.
• Strong business development and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple government contractor client engagements as trusted advisor.
• Provide guidance on FAR, DCAA, cost accounting standards, and rate structures.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and cost submissions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Advise on audit readiness, process improvements, and best practices.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, forward pricing, and pricing support.
• Participate in business development and network within GovCon community.
• Stay current on regulations and industry trends; mentor staff.
• Manage engagement budgets, staffing, timelines, and profitability.
• Ensure high-quality, timely deliverables exceeding client expectations.
