Job summary

LSL CPAs is seeking an Audit Associate for a remote role in the United States. You will join an audit team to perform audits, reviews, and compilations across diverse client industries, under supervision from experienced staff and management.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, development of technical accounting skills, and formulating strong professional foundations. No immediate sponsorship is required; travel may be needed for Southern California clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field.
• CPA license or pursuing the 150-credit hour requirement.
• 0-1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of debit/credit concepts in accounting and auditing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Willingness to travel to serve clients in Southern California.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements.
• Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and GAAS compliance.
• Prepare audit work papers to document work performed.
• Contribute to portions of larger audit engagements.
• Perform year-end and interim auditing procedures.
• Research and resolve technical accounting issues.
