Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Governance Engineer II to turn enterprise API, data, security, and Responsible AI policies into practical automation. You will develop governance-as-code, enforce guardrails, and collaborate with security, data, and engineering teams to enable secure API and AI-enabled access.

You will also drive lifecycle management, compliance, and self-service tooling to help teams innovate responsibly while maintaining strong policy alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting REST APIs and integrations.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger specs and API lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing CI/CD governance, automated testing, security scanning, or contract testing.

Responsibilities

• Translate policies into implementable API governance standards and reusable patterns.
• Review API specs for alignment with security and data standards.
• Establish guardrails for AI agents to securely access APIs and data.
• Automate governance controls within CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Monitor compliance and lifecycle status of APIs and agent interactions.
