Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Governance Engineer II for a remote role. You will implement governance‑as‑code, automate API and AI security controls, and collaborate with architecture, security, risk, and data teams to enable enterprise data access while maintaining compliance.

You will craft reusable standards and guardrails for APIs and AI agents. As part of a cross‑functional team, you will promote consistent API design, lifecycle management, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software engineering or API development.
• Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI, and API lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and governance‑as‑code practices.
• Knowledge of API security concepts (OAuth, auth, least privilege).
• Experience with AI governance and agentic AI concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate policies into governance‑as‑code and automated guardrails.
• Strengthen API and AI security, automate compliance and approvals.
• Collaborate with security, data, architecture and engineering teams.
• Onboard APIs to governance platforms and maintain lifecycle controls.
• Develop reusable patterns and self‑service governance templates.
