Job summary

ISI Professional Services seeks a Recruiter to source, attract, recruit, and maintain relationships with highly qualified professionals supporting federal government contracts in Engineering and Construction Management. The role covers construction project managers, engineers, estimators, schedulers, and related positions.

This remote role in the Washington DC Metro area supports business development, capture, and proposal staffing, with aggressive timelines and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting federal government contractors.
• Experience recruiting for Construction Engineering and Management professionals in federal contracting environments.
• Experience recruiting for GovCon companies for direct hire and for business development opportunities.
• Experience supporting business development, capture, proposal staffing, or contingent hiring efforts for government contracts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced recruiting environment with tight deadlines.
• Proven track record building talent pipelines for future contract opportunities.
• Experience recruiting under aggressive deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of the federal contracting lifecycle: capture, proposals, awards, and task orders.
• Experience identifying and recruiting key personnel for federal proposals.
• Proficiency with ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and candidate sourcing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies for government contracting positions within Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Facilities, and Professional Services.
• Support business development, capture, and proposals by identifying candidates for anticipated opportunities.
• Recruit and pipeline key personnel for proposals, recompetes, task orders, and new pursuits.
• Build relationships with specialized candidates including project managers and engineers.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and workforce planning needs.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of cleared, qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Utilize sourcing methods including LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, and resume databases.
• Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate technical capabilities, security clearance status, and cultural fit.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer, ensuring timely communications.
