MCI is hiring Call Center Representatives for the Get out the vote initiative. This remote role involves making outbound calls on behalf of the Republican party to encourage voting, with no prior center experience required beyond strong communication skills.

Entry-level position with compensation commensurate with experience. Training is provided, and candidates should be reliable, motivated, and comfortable working from home with a high-speed internet connection.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with data-entry using a computer
• Ability to read and speak English fluently
• Wired, high-speed internet connection (Download speed 20Mbps+)
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Typing swiftly and accurately (20+ wpm)
• Ability to work regular shifts within operating hours and training period
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office apps and Windows PC
• Reliable with good attendance and punctuality
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Customer-service oriented, empathetic and patient
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and customer focus
• Adaptable to changes and ambiguity
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound contacts in a courteous, timely, and professional manner
• Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve issues
• Research systems to locate missing information and coordinate with other departments
• Follow client program processes and complete tasks professionally
• Use systems and technology to manage accounts
• Document and process customer claims accurately
• Follow scripts, policies, and procedures
• Use knowledge base and training to answer questions
• Protect confidential information and personal data
• Escalate issues to appropriate staff for resolution
• Aim for first-call resolution through problem solving
• Attend meetings and trainings to stay updated on program knowledge
• Maintain attendance and work schedule requirements
