Canonical is hiring a Software Engineer to contribute to Juju, a large open-source Go project powering distributed software systems globally. This remote role supports cloud, Kubernetes, and bare-metal environments, with travel for events and team sprints.

You will collaborate with a distributed team, debug and engage with upstream communities, and help design and deliver scalable features across cloud automation and operations at scale.

Competenze

• Experience developing software using Go.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• An exceptional academic track record from high school and preferably university.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.

Mansioni

• Contribute to design, delivery and support of features in a highly concurrent, distributed system.
