Job summary
Canonical is a remote-first software company that develops Ubuntu and cloud automation tools. You will join a distributed team to design, build, and maintain automated image delivery and cloud integration features for Ubuntu across public clouds.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, STEM or similar.
- Experience with public clouds and Linux systems administration is required.
- Proficient in Python development and packaging for Linux environments.
- Familiarity with open source projects, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
Responsibilities
- Build automated, reliable image delivery, testing and publication pipelines.
- Design, build and integrate new Ubuntu features for public cloud users.
- Collaborate with a distributed team across locations.
- Write high quality code and review peers' work.
- Design complex systems and cloud integrations; debug and fix issues.
