About the Role

Our client, a leading luxury travel provider specializing in bespoke experiences, is seeking a Remote Senior Travel Consultant. This role is perfect for an experienced, passionate travel professional who thrives in a virtual setting and has a knack for crafting extraordinary itineraries for discerning clients. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and booking high‑end travel arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, and managing client relationships from start to finish. While the role is fully remote, it requires a deep understanding of travel trends, destination expertise, and the ability to operate with significant autonomy. Ideal candidates will have a strong connection to or understanding of the Paarl, Western Cape region's offerings, although not essential due to the remote nature. You will be a key player in curating unforgettable journeys for a global clientele, working collaboratively with a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and customize unique, high‑end travel itineraries based on individual client preferences and budget.
• Conduct in‑depth destination research and provide expert recommendations on accommodations, activities, and transportation.
• Book flights, hotels, tours, transfers, and other travel components, ensuring seamless integration.
• Manage client accounts, providing ongoing support and addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Utilize CRM and booking systems efficiently to manage client information and bookings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Travel Consultant, with a significant focus on luxury or bespoke travel planning.
• Proven expertise in designing complex international itineraries and managing high‑net‑worth clients.
• Exceptional knowledge of global destinations, with a particular emphasis on luxury travel experiences.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities, crucial for remote client interaction.
• Proficiency in GDS (Global Distribution System) and various booking platforms.
• Self‑motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
• A passion for travel and creating exceptional client experiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with the wine routes and luxury offerings around Paarl, Western Cape is a plus, given the company's broader interests.
