Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of Trade Compliance to shape and oversee a robust trade framework for international movement of goods in a complex manufacturing environment. The role partners with senior leadership, customs and logistics, and internal teams to strengthen governance and minimize risk.

Location is Remote with a compensation range of $155,000–$180,000 per year. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in trade compliance and relevant certifications, ready to lead cross-functional projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or international trade.
• 10+ years of experience in trade compliance.
• Trade certifications such as CUSECO, CES, or LCB preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing trade compliance programs.
• In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's trade compliance program.
• Provide strategic guidance and training to trade compliance representatives.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
• Manage relationships with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Lead meetings to justify investments in trade compliance projects.
• Oversee the trade compliance electronic recordkeeping platform.
• Issue quarterly import and export data reports to senior management.
