Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Director of Trade Compliance to lead and evolve the global trade program. This remote role will drive compliance across US and international locations, overseeing classifications, training, and governance to support import/export activities.

The position requires 10+ years in trade compliance, strong leadership, and expertise in global trade regulations. Competitive compensation with bonus and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, law or international trade.
• Minimum 10 years in trade compliance roles with increasing responsibility.
• Experience developing and maintaining a trade compliance program.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, ITAR, and export controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction and management of Airgas’ trade compliance program.
• Develop, implement and manage policies, training and guidelines for import/export.
• Provide training to associates and oversee ITCR support across units.
• Oversee HTS/ECCN classification for products and maintain compliance records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy Global Trade Management systems.
