Job summary
ZEISS Group is seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to be a key resource for Field Service Engineers, Affiliates and Distributors, delivering timely technical guidance and issue resolution. You will collaborate with global teams to resolve complex problems, contribute to knowledge sharing, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
The role requires approximately five years in medical device field support or escalation, strong electronics/optics/software knowledge, and willingness
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Engineering preferred.
- Minimum ~5 years’ experience as Field Support Engineer or Technical Escalation Engineer in medical device industry.
- High degree of technical proficiency with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with electronics, optics, software, optical instrument mechanics, PCs/OS. IT: databases and networks.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support as primary contact for Field Service Engineers, Affiliates and Distributors.
- Address escalations on-site at domestic and international customer locations as needed.
- Collaborate with global support and engineering to resolve issues and share knowledge.
- Contribute to knowledge base and feedback to Quality/Engineering for continuous improvement.
