Job summary

Ipas is seeking a Senior Medical Scientist to provide technical leadership in safe abortion, contraception, and GBV care across development and humanitarian contexts. You will strengthen access and quality by establishing global tools, standards, processes, and partnerships.

The role involves collaboration with teams worldwide, disseminating evidence through publications and presentations, and training Ipas-supported sites and partners. Travel up to 20% internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree (e.g., nursing or midwifery).
• 10+ years of clinical practice in reproductive health.
• Experience developing SRHR tools and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to advance safe abortion, contraception and GBV care quality globally.
• Develop technical tools translating evidence updates into health services.
• Lead on quality indicators, regulatory processes for the MVA product line, and infection prevention.
