Ipas is seeking a Senior Medical Scientist to provide strategic and technical leadership in safe abortion, contraception, and GBV care. The role focuses on improving quality through evidence, standards, and partnerships across humanitarian and development contexts.

The senior scientist will disseminate new evidence, train teams, present findings at external forums, and collaborate with partners to scale effective health services. Travel up to 20% internationally is required.

Formación

• Advanced clinical degree and clinical practice in reproductive health.
• Proven ability to translate evidence into health services and training.
• Fluency in English (spoken, written) for technical communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and/or translate evidence-based clinical content for advocacy and program support.
• Develop technical tools translating clinical updates into health services.
• Lead quality, regulatory, and infection prevention efforts for the Ipas MVA product line.
• Support training of Ipas sites and partners in abortion, contraception, GBV care, and trauma-informed care.
• Disseminate evidence through publications, presentations, and external engagement.
