Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager (Remote) to drive global strategic sourcing initiatives with direct visibility to senior leadership. You will lead supplier development and cross‑functional projects across service, quality, and cost.

The role is 100% virtual in the US, with responsibilities including executive communication and governance of supplier performance, risk, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement or related field.
• 10 years in supply management focusing on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• Knowledge of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of supplier processes and supply chain risk factors, including risk assessment and mitigation.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and cost reduction techniques.
• Experience with supplier metrics and supporting systems.
• Strong leadership, negotiations, influencing, communication & presentation, project management, troubleshooting & problem solving, analysis, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with global category goals, optimizing supplier performance across service, quality, and cost.
• Set strategic direction for key supplier partnerships and act as escalation point for supplier issues.
• Drive supplier development and continuous improvement to meet short- and long-term needs.
• Lead global sourcing projects and cross-functional initiatives beyond sourcing.
• Engage with senior leadership and executive stakeholders across Stryker and suppliers.
