Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a Svc Business Manager to drive service requirements for new product development and guide US market introduction.

The role collaborates with Service upstream marketing, engineering, R/D, and enterprise solution groups to deliver innovative service solutions and CIRB/GCIRB actions. Remote-based in the USA, the candidate will lead corrective actions, ROI-driven improvements, global deployment planning, and service tooling strategies across modalities

Qualifications

• 4 Year / bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in medical imaging.
• 4 years in an engineering environment with emphasis in systems level engineering design or engineering project management.
• 4 years project management experience in an environment with multiple, simultaneous projects.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to perform 100% remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage corrective action plans for installed base and new products.
• Perform in a cross-functional role to ensure good engineering practices are followed in accordance with Canon policies.
• Drive process improvements through documented business plans; including ROI estimates.
• Proactively drive process improvements throughout the Service and Product Engineering environments.
• Participate in the global strategic planning of new product serviceability and related tools.
• Develop Service business models for Canon products including MTBF, MTTR, Life Cycle Planning.
• Manage modality specific service cost reduction initiatives and monitor costs against targets.
• Lead technical communications between departments for issues related to design, performance and service.
• Interact with global service design teams to develop deployment plans for new medical imaging product designs.
• Develop and integrate all software/hardware/firmware/content for new product conception through CTQ goals.
• Provide project leadership and schedules for departmental deliverables.
• Develop SDRS content for functional and architectural system design requirements for Canon products.
• Coordinate with training to determine test, training, and documentation needs for support.
• Interface with Service to provide escalation support during new product launches.
• Serve as service knowledge expert and CMSU liaison for CMSU-related product issues.
