Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial management with GAAP and donor regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to detect inconsistencies.
• Ability to produce accurate, well-documented financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Demonstrated ethics, integrity, and adherence to professional codes of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate supporting documentation for financial transactions.
• Set up and maintain data for processing transactions in accounting systems.
• Record transactions following approvals; propose corrections as needed.
• Coordinate with CP teams to clear advances and receivables.
• Evaluate subrecipient financial management and strengthen partner capacity.
• Prepare periodic and ad hoc financial reports; perform variance analyses.
• Collaborate to reconcile GL, PPM, and SF-245 reports; resolve discrepancies.
• Provide policy guidance on financial accounting to staff and subrecipients.
• Perform treasury duties including cash payments/receipts and forecasting.
• Support calendars and reporting cycles (MEC, YEC, ICQ).
