Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead the security strategy, protect employees and facilities, and ensure business continuity across regions. This highly strategic role reports to the Senior Director of Global EHS and is fully remote.

You will establish security policies, manage risk, and oversee executive protection, investigations, and vendor oversight while partnering with Legal, HR, IT and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise-level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and manage global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
• Define and implement global security policies, standards, and operating models across regions.
• Oversee site security risk assessments, physical security, and travel security programs.
• Support crisis management, incident response, and business continuity.
• Collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
