Brunswick's Mercury Marine division seeks a Product Application Engineer to deliver global technical support for propulsion systems and coordinate with OEMs on installation and performance improvements. The role emphasizes new product launches and engineering tool development for quality installations across marine partners.

Based in Central Florida with travel, you will lead issue resolution, perform audits, and help train OEM technicians, contributing to Brunswick's Next Never Rests philosophy

Qualifikationen

• BS Engineering or technical marine certification or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of marine engines, engine systems and electronic controls.
• Knowledge of System engineering methods.
• Knowledge of marine industry and basic vessel design.
• Able to perform vessel testing, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proficient with computers and common software.
• Exposure to Six Sigma problem solving tools.
• Ability to work in team-based groups.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide global technical support to Mercury Marine delivery partners and customers.
• Participate in new product development programs and launch.
• Develop tools for propulsion system installations and BOM reviews.
• Coordinate with boat OEMs and marine manufacturers on system solutions.
• Lead installation audits and ensure compliance with Mercury requirements.
• Support training of OEM installation technicians and dealer meetings.
